Bill Hodson began his reinsurance career in the with the G.L. Hodson & Son, Inc. organization after internships in London - both with a Lloyd's syndicate and a leading London reinsurance broker. Bill also worked for GLH and successor organization, Willis Re, in the Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York and North Carolina offices. During that time, his focus gravitated toward specialty lines reinsurance placements, program management for “traditional” insurers, business produced through Managing General Agents, and Alternative Risk reinsurance placements and formations for on-shore & off-shore captives and Risk Retention Groups.
Bill is currently active with numerous domicile and non-domicile industry groups and associations, and is a frequent conference speaker, author and podcast participant on reinsurance, captives, and specialty risk management topics.
